Entry Opens for 2012

Online entry has now opened for the 2012 Carmarthen Mayor's Fun Run & Junior races. Entry fees have not been increased for 2012 for the 5Km Fun Run or the Junior events.

Entry Fees are :

UK Affiliated runners - £5.50
UK Non Affiliated runners - £7.50
Junior runners - £3.50
Mini Fun Run - £2.00
Wheelchair athletes - £3.50

One major change for 2012 is that an additional charge will be made for those entering on the day - this is common practise for most events of this nature. This fee will be £1.00. It is hoped that this will encourage more runners to enter before race day itself, either online or by post.

Date Set for 2012

May 7th will see the running of the 31st Carmarthen Mayor's Fun Run & Junior Races. The change of date to May Day Bank holiday last year proved to be an excellent success and the organisers have decided to stick with the same date for 2012. Once again all the stops will be pulled out to make sure we have a great event in Carmarthen for everyone to enjoy.
